'Daredevil Born Again' Season 2 Review: Faith And Patience Will Be Rewarded
No one will be able to complain about not getting to see enough Daredevil actually wearing his Daredevil costume in the eight episodes of the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. There's certainly no, "Woe is me, I don't want to be Daredevil anymore and I won't be for four episodes," this time around. In fact, a Wilson Fisk orchestrated plot point surrounding Matt Murdock "is missing" forces Matt to pretty much wear the Daredevil costume for the duration of the season, outside of flashbacks.
Some early reactions to to second season of Daredevil: Born Again have, at eight episodes, complained about the show's length. That it feels "padded." There's some merit there. But there's also a lot going on in this second season – so much I'm just not sure the last couple episodes work without everything that comes before. (There's a scene in the seventh episode that still haunts me.) And, boy, the way this series ends really is dynamite, even though it takes a bit of patience to get there...
