Here's My Story About Going To Bruce Springsteen’s House

In 2019 I went to Bruce Springsteen's house for an interview when he was promoting a film he co-directed, Western Stars. I wrote about this back then for Uproxx, but that story has been deleted. I'm not going to post the original story because that's not really the point this time. I'm not sure any quotes Springsteen had that day are going to be that interesting seven years later, certainly not compared to what he has to say about everything going on today. (Though, ostensibly this was an interview more film related than music, hence why I was there, but I did ask him why he used the term "speedball" instead of "fastball" in his 1985 hit song "Glory Days." I primarily asked this because every sports writer I know wanted to know the answer to this question. He did attempt to answer, but eventually settled on that he didn't quite know and that he just liked how it sounded. Fair enough, he is The Boss.)

Anyway, a couple of funny things happened while at Bruce Springsteen's house and I'm going to share them here.
