I Truly Love Dolly Parton And Sylvester Stallone Together in 'Rhinestone'

On Wednesday, Sylvester Stallone paid tribute to his Rhinestone co-star, Dolly Parton, who died this week at the age of 80. It's been a nonstop outpouring of love for Parton since the news broke on Tuesday.¹ But Stallone's tribute about the two of them almost being crushed by a gigantic horse while working together on Rhinestone really got to me. You can tell how sad he is. From all accounts Parton and Stallone truly loved working together, which is a running theme about Parton and not always the case with Stallone. And I love there's an entire movie in which Stallone is on stage singing and basically making a fool of himself because of his love and respect for Parton. I actually love watching Rhinestone² and, more than that, I just love it exists. I truly don't believe Stallone does half the things he does in this film to make a complete fool of himself without Parton there…
